Announcements: due to the weather and school cancellations, the form about graduation fee is due as soon as possible. Try to have it Monday when we return. 

ILA:The folders containing Of Mice and Men work are due Tuesday.You will be given time in school on Monday, anything left incomplete must be completed by Tuesday. 

There will be a vocabulary test on Lesson 7 words Thursday. 

The next book we will be reading will be To Kill A Mockingbird by  Harper Lee. 

Research papers are due Monday February 21. You should have selected a topic by now for approval. You should be forming a thesis sentence for approval and beginning your research using two books, two magazine articles and any number of internet cites. 

There are things due along the way: topic sheets, thesis sheets, note cards, first drafts and revision suggestions. These due dates will be given as we proceed.  

SCIENCE: We will have a test on Geological Time this week. Be sure to study your handouts and notes. Also, your work with a partner, choosing ten facts and creating questions from them will be due after class Monday.
